Frequently asked questions
Here’s everything you need to know about your wedding photography
All your wedding photography questions, answered. Still have a question? Just get in touch! I’d love to hear from you.

What is your wedding photography style?
My wedding photography style is natural and romantic and my approach is a blend of classic portraiture and candid photography. My images are edited in line with my signature style which is natural and bright with rich warm tones and colours.
I don’t usually do lots of photo or skin retouching work because I want your images to be true to life and as beautiful and natural as possible.
However, I completely understand if there are certain things you may feel self-conscious about, and if you would like me to tweak your images in any way please do just ask. Most minor things I can magic away in photoshop, but there would be an additional fee for more in-depth or large volumes of photo retouching.

What happens if it rains?
I always plan to roll with it, rain or shine!
Wedding umbrellas make for some wonderful photos outdoors, and the best images will be the ones where everyone embraces the elements and has some fun with it.
What kind of confetti should we buy?
Check if there are any restrictions at your venue. I usually recommend a biodegradable paper confetti for the range of colours available, or you can buy dried rose petal confetti for a more natural look.
Confetti canons are a great option for creating a BIG volume of confetti for your pictures.
Can we book a pre-wedding engagement photoshoot?
Absolutely! I offer pre-wedding or ‘engagement’ photoshoots as an optional extra that you can add on to any of my wedding packages.
Having a pre-wedding photoshoot can give you some gorgeous imagery to use on your wedding invites, and can really help couples to know what to expect on the wedding day and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
You can choose a location that has meaning for you both as a couple, and it can help you to think about what kind of images you are looking for on your wedding day.
Can we book a second photographer?
I offer second photographers as an optional add on to any standard wedding package. Having a second photographer means that you have an extra pair of hands to capture candid photos of your guests while I’m taking group photos, and you’ll receive a bigger range of images shot from different angles.
If you are having a bigger wedding with lots of guests, then a second photographer is recommended.
All my talented second photographers have the same style and approach as me, and I edit all of their images in my usual style.
Do you offer videography as well?
No. I don’t provide videography, but can provide you with some excellent recommendations from a fantastic group of female videographers working across London and the South East.
Can we share our pictures with wedding guests?
Absolutely! You can also ‘hide’ photos in your gallery that you want to keep private for just you and your partner.
Can our wedding guests buy prints?
I offer high quality, professionally mounted or framed prints and stunning handmade photo albums if you’d like to really show off your beautiful new photos in your home.
Your wedding guests can order prints and frames directly from your wedding gallery.
Do you offer a wedding album design service?
Yes. I design all my wedding albums myself and work with the best handcrafted wedding album providers in the UK.
I offer two rounds of changes once you’ve previewed your initial album design online. Additional rounds of changes are charged at £50 per set.
What if you are unwell on the day?
In the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding on the day, I will give you as much advance notice as possible and will arrange for an associate to photograph your wedding on my behalf.
I will then edit and deliver your photos in my usual style.
Are you insured and do you have back up equipment?
I am fully insured, which includes my equipment and public liability insurance up to £5m. I always bring back up equipment in case of any technical issues on the day.
Do you offer family, maternity and newborn photography?
Yes absolutely! Have a look at my family, newborn and maternity pages for more details.
I feel awkward or nervous in front of a camera, can you help?
It’s my mission to help you feel comfortable during my photoshoots!
My style is very much natural and unposed and I want to capture you feeling like yourself. I’ll offer some gentle direction and encouragement so you can be completely confident in the process and know you’re in the best hands.
