What makes Molly Rhianon Photography different?

I’m Molly, an event photographer based in London. Before I picked up my camera professionally, I spent years working in arts management, and worked on coordinating events for some of the UK’s most respected cultural institutions, including the Tate, the V&A and the Royal College of Art. From high profile public seminars and open days to conferences, workshops and art gallery openings, I know what it takes to get an event up and running smoothly.

Now that I’m behind the camera, I bring all my knowledge and experience to shape my people-centred approach to event photography. I know when to step forward and engage with your guests and when to blend into the background. In my experience it’s often the little interactions between people that can describe the atmosphere in the room, just as much as the big moments up on stage, and I aim to capture photos that tell the complete story of your event.

I’m also a brand photographer, which means I understand how your event images work as marketing content alongside the wider visual identity of your business. I bring a warmth and professionalism to any environment, carry full public liability insurance, and deliver event images that reflect the quality of your organisation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book an event photographer in London?

For large events like conferences or awards dinners, I’d recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance. For smaller events or if you need coverage at short notice, it’s always worth getting in touch. I do take last-minute bookings where my schedule allows.

How long do you stay at the event?

I can stay at your event for as long as you need and will quote you for the amount of coverage required. My coverage can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 10 hour+ days. Photography coverage is continuous so you’ll be quoted from set up to when I leave.

How many photos will we receive?

It completely depends on the type of event and the length of your photography coverage. I can give you an indication at the time of booking.

How quickly will we receive the photos?

My usual turnaround time is within 5 days for your full set of event images. If you need a faster turnaround for press or social media use, expedited delivery is available, just let me know at the time of booking.

Can you photograph speakers and presentations without being disruptive?

Yes. I work quietly and efficiently throughout and many delegates might not even know I’m there until they see the photos.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. I hold full public liability and professional insurance and can provide documentation on request.

Can you cover events outside London?

I’m primarily London-based but do cover events elsewhere in the UK. Travel costs outside Greater London are discussed at the time of booking.

What’s the difference between event photography and conference photography?

Conference photography is a type of event photography focused specifically on structured business events which likely include keynote speakers, panel discussions, networking sessions or break out rooms. Event photography is the broader term covering everything from awards evenings to product launches and informal gatherings.

Do you work alone or bring an assistant?

Most events I cover solo. For larger conferences or events where simultaneous coverage is needed in multiple spaces, a second photographer can be arranged.
