Welcome, I’m Molly!
A gardening-obsessed, cake-loving, mum of two, and your go-to portrait photographer in London.
I’ve spent over 20 years working as a creative professional across London’s top arts institutions, teaching photography, developing my creative photographic practice and exhibiting my artwork widely. I’ve been Co-Director of The Gate Darkroom for the last 8 years, a community black and white photographic darkroom in South East London, where I teach the next generation of photographers, and I’ve delivered numerous photography workshops including at the V&A and the Barbican.
In 2022 I brought all my experience and creative passion together and founded Molly Rhianon Photography. Inspired by the joy of photographing my new little family whilst on maternity leave, and the realisation that I’d found exactly what I was truly meant to do.
My portrait photography services include family, maternity, newborn and wedding photography for clients across all of Greater London, and photography services for businesses, creatives, and female founders who want to create impactful marketing imagery for their brand.
My superpower is putting people at ease. People tell me I’m like an old friend with a camera, and I love working with people. My photoshoots are relaxed, fun and all about capturing photographs that truly feel like you
I grew up on the South coast before moving to The. Big. City. over 10 years ago, and I’m delighted to call my little corner of South East London my home. When I’m not behind the camera you’ll find me pottering in my garden, getting messy painting with my children, and trying to locate my car keys amongst the chaos of family life.

I'm a super proud mum of two
My son is a gentle soul with strong opinions on porridge and my daughter is a red-haired tornado of a girl.
My cat is called Ziggy
Full name Stardust. She has designer spots and can do a cracking backflip.
Putting people at ease is my superpower
And so is being thoroughly good-natured in the face of adversity.
Japan has been my favourite travel adventure
My mind blowing food discoveries were omurice and okonomiyaki.
I believe that everyone can be creative

I own over 100 houseplants

My tiny London garden is my happy place

I have been a practising artist, photographer and educator for over 20 years, working primarily with experimental and analogue photographic processes.
My work has been shown at The Photographers’ Gallery and Dulwich Picture Gallery in London, and exhibited internationally across Germany, Spain, Italy and the UK as part of the touring show Obsolete & Discontinued. Other exhibitions include UrbanPhotoFest, Deptford X Fringe, the London Alternative Photography Collective, Roy’s Art Fair at the Truman Brewery, and group shows from Bristol to Cheltenham, with a residency exhibition in Atina, Italy.
My work is published in the engage journal and included in a photobook published by Brovira Press.

Relaxed, natural family portrait photography in London for families of all shapes and sizes. Whether you have wriggly toddlers or fed-up teenagers, I’ll help you plan a fun shoot your whole family will love at your home or outdoors. I can come to you anywhere in Greater London.
Sessions typically last 1 to 2 hours. Image packages include 5, 10 or 50+ professionally edited images delivered within 2 to 3 weeks. Session fee £275, image packages from £275.
Newborn & Maternity Photography in London
Natural style maternity and newborn baby photography in London, capturing your journey into motherhood from bump to baby. Sessions take place at your home or outdoors anywhere in Greater London and are relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and newborn cuddles.
Sessions typically last 1 to 2 hours. Image packages include 5, 10 or 50+ professionally edited images delivered within 2 weeks. Session fee £275, image packages from £275. Book maternity and newborn together with the Bump to Baby package saving £375 in total.
Wedding Photography in London and the South East
